In December 9, 2009, an Omnibus Complaint was filed in the federal court in the Eastern District of Louisiana against Knauf Plasterboard Tianjin (“KPT”). This is litigation is referred to as the Multi District Litigation (“MDL”). For those who missed the deadline or have drywall manufactured by another foreign company or who have unidentified drywall, the Plaintiffs’ Steering Committee (“PSC”) has filed additional Omnibus Complaints. There will likely be another opportunity to be added to the cases.
